PDS Plus Absorbable Monofilament Suture, 3-0, Clear, SH Needle, 27 inches, is a sterile synthetic surgical suture designed for soft-tissue approximation and ligation. Its absorbable monofilament construction provides extended wound support during the healing process. The undyed, clear material offers an uncolored option for surgical closure procedures where absorbable suture material is appropriate.

The suture contains Irgacare MP (triclosan), a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent intended to help inhibit bacterial colonization on the suture material. Its monofilament structure provides a smooth surface, supporting passage through tissue during placement. The absorbable material is designed to provide extended wound support, with support required for up to six weeks in appropriate applications.

This product features a 3-0 suture gauge and a strand length of 27 inches (70 cm). It is supplied with an SH needle measuring 26 mm and featuring a 1/2-circle curvature. The needle-and-suture configuration supports controlled placement during suitable surgical procedures requiring tissue approximation or ligation.
