The IV Start Kit with Tegaderm™ Transparent Dressing and Chloraprep® is a sterile, single-use kit designed to support peripheral intravenous (IV) insertion and site preparation. Each kit contains essential supplies for skin antisepsis, catheter site dressing, and securing the IV site. The components are organized in one soft pack to facilitate access during clinical procedures and support an efficient IV preparation workflow.

The kit includes one 1 mL Chloraprep® One-Step applicator for skin antisepsis before IV insertion. A latex-free tourniquet is provided to assist with vein visualization and access during venipuncture. These components support preparation of the insertion site and help healthcare professionals carry out IV placement using established infection-prevention practices.

For dressing and securing the insertion site, the kit contains one Tegaderm™ transparent dressing measuring 2-3/8 inches by 2-3/4 inches, two 2-inch by 2-inch gauze dressings, and one roll of medical tape. The transparent dressing allows visual observation of the IV site while covering the insertion area. An IV site label is also included for identification and documentation purposes.
